BLUTENGEL reveals new hit single „Kein Mensch“!

With „Kein Mensch“ (Not Human), Blutengel delivers the new punchy single from the upcoming album. The album „Un:Sterblich – Our Souls Will Never Die“ will contain 25 new Blutengel songs and will be released on May 12 via Out Of Line Music. Chris comments about the song: „Those who know me know I don’t like people. Creatures that kill themselves for power and greed are filth and unworthy of living. I don’t want to be called human because I don’t belong to those monsters….“ 
 
Musically, the song starts beautifully and danceable, then becomes quite heavy and comes entirely to the point in a hypnotic alternation between initially beautiful clean vocals and then distorted vocals, following the listeners through impenetrable epochal obscure darkness henceforth. At the same time, the song spreads an oldschool feeling in the vein of Terminal Choice in a substantively oppressive, sinister atmosphere. „I’m not human. I never want to be like humans… Humans kill humans“, resounds the charismatic voice of Blutengel’s singer and creator, Chris Pohl.
 
„The song is based on old Terminal Choice songs from the MENSCHENBRECHER time!“ Chris confirms, „In the video, you see the creature that goes berserk when he sees the news and TV in general. He can’t understand it, and in the end, you see he’s an angel and ‚Not Human’…“.

The album release will be accompanied by concerts in May and June and a massive open-air anniversary show on June 17 in Chemnitz, Germany. 

 
„This time, there will be an unprecedented box! It took a very long time to compile the content. My late father left me coins that I sold in the last months…. That took a lot of time and brought back memories…. I really wanted to have a Blutengel coin now, too, so that people can remember me… Also, the hourglass symbolizes eternity, and immortality, because you can turn it over and over again. And with 25 songs, I also thought it was nice to have handwritten lyrics from Ulli and me attached…. So everything is very personal,“ says Chris about creating the formats of the upcoming album.
 
„UN:STERBLICH – Our Souls Will Never Die“ will be released as a 2CD digipack, as a limited deluxe 3CD digibook including an exclusive 5 track CD with unplugged versions of selected new songs as well as on analog cassette and two strictly limited vinyl editions. The highlight Chris is speaking about is a large wooden box limited to 699 pieces. It incl. a 3CD digibook, a handwritten lyric book, an hourglass in Blutengel design, a Blutengel coin and bracelet, a hand-numbered certificate, and the exclusive 2023 reissue of the „Lebe deinen Traum“ audiobook that is only available in the box containing the years 2017-2022.
